This image of the Martian surface is the recent image of the "Face" taken on Sun 04/05/98 at 00:39:37 PST by the Mars Global Surveyor. This image is available at http://mpfwww.arc.nasa.gov/mgs/target/CYD1/index.html. I have rotated the image so it is in the position that we are used to for faces.
